Webinar: Locus of Control: Are You in Control of Your Simulations?
Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time
Misagh Mansouri (University of Pittsburgh) and Jeff Reinbolt (University of Tennessee) will introduce a MATLAB/Simulink interface for rapidly and easily designing control algorithms for OpenSim and discuss how they are using the interface to understand coordinated and uncoordinated movement. New Shared Resource: Simulation of ARED Squat Exercise
BJ Fregly (University of Florida) and co-authors Christopher Fregly and Brandon Kim have made the model and input files for producing a forward dynamic simulation of the Advanced Resistive Exercise Device (ARED) squat exercise available on their Simtk Project. These files enable the reproduction of the ground reaction forces and muscle moments computed in their study “Computational Simulation of Muscle Loading during ARED Squat Exercise on the International Space Station,” which was recently published in the Journal of Biomechanical Engineering.Apply to be an OpenSim Fellow
We encourage new applicants to the OpenSim Fellows Program – an initiative from the OpenSim project and the National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation Research. The goal of the Fellows Program is to cultivate and engage a community of OpenSim experts who will collectively advance the field of neuro-musculoskeletal modeling and simulation. Benefits include invitations to the biennial OpenSim Symposium and listing in the OpenSim consultants registry. Read more and learn how to apply.
