Call for Applications to the OpenSim Fellows Program
We are pleased to announce the OpenSim Fellows Program <http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/fellows.html>– a new initiative from the OpenSim project and the National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation Research. The goal of the OpenSim Fellows Program is to cultivate and engage a community of OpenSim experts who will collectively advance the field of neuro-musculoskeletal modeling and simulation. The full details<http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/fellows.html>of the program, including benefits<http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/fellows.html#Benefits>and responsibilities<http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/fellows.html#Responsibilities>are available on our website. Some of the benefits include participation in a biannual Fellows symposium, access to support, and recognition as a Fellow and recommended OpenSim consultant. The OpenSim Fellows will help to grow and sustain the modeling and simulation community by 1) training the next generation of researchers; 2) encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration; 3) sharing models, data, and software; 4) advocating for model validation; and 5) demonstrating simulation best practices. The application<http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/fellows.html#ApplicationProcess>includes a CV, two representative publications, five short essays, and two letters of endorsement. Applicants must demonstrate OpenSim expertise and contributions to the community. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Please let us know if you have any questions about the program or the application process.
