Dear SimVascular Users,

A new SimVascular December 2025 Release has been added to the SimTK SimVascular web page. This release fixes many of the bugs introduced with the SimVascular external package updates.

The svSolver and svFSI solvers have been replaced by svMultiPhysics and will no longer be supported.

There is no native build for SimVascular on Windows. Windows users can use WSL to run SimVascular from an Ubuntu terminal.

There are installers on the SimTK SimVascular web page for

An Ubuntu 25 installer will be available the second week in January 2026.

SimVascular may fail to start because of missing libraries. Each installer describes which libraries are most likely to be missing and how to install them.

Please post to the SimVascular Forum if you encounter any problems.

Cheers,
Dave
