OpenSim is an open-source software package for simulating the movement of
humans and animals. NMSBuilder is a user-friendly, freely available
software for processing biomedical data and developing OpenSim
musculoskeletal models from subject-specific data.
The webinar will demonstrate the capabilities of the NMSBuilder software
through a case study that generates OpenSim models from anatomical
surfaces segmented from lower-limb MRI. Specifically, participants will
learn how NMSBuilder can be used to:
. Integrate and edit medical images and geometric data
. Create and modify model components of the musuloskeletal system
(e.g., bones, joints, muscles)
. Generate OpenSim's xml model file from subject-specific data
