Michael Levitt, professor of structural biology at Stanford University,
has received the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry in recognition of his
pioneering work in computational biology.

"This is wonderful for computational biology and a victory for
physics-based simulation," said Scott Delp, PhD, professor of
bioengineering, mechanical engineering and orthopaedic surgery at Stanford
and co-PI for Simbios <http://simbios.stanford.edu> , the National Center
for Physics Based Simulation of Biological Structures, of which Levitt is
a part.
