[Kneeloads-news] Update on Competition Data

Dear Researcher,

You are receiving this message because you subscribed to the Kneeloads-news newsgroup when you downloaded documentation, data, and/or models for the upcoming Grand Challenge Competition at the 2010 ASME Summer Bioengineering Conference.

I would like to make you aware of two new categories of data that have been added to the Downloads page:
1) X-ray images from the subject (AP pelvis and knee x-rays)
2) Geometric implant-bone models for the subject's femur, patella, and tibia/fibula, including fluoroscopic data from treadmill gait.
As a reminder, the Simtk.org home page for the competition is https://simtk.org/home/kneeloads/.

We hope that you will find these new data and models useful as you work on generating muscle and contact force predictions for the competition. Remember that the 2010 ASME Summer Bioengineering Conference abstract submission deadline is January 15.
