Applications for the virtual workshop and developers workshop are due soon.
We are also pleased to announce a new OpenSim Fellow and more OpenSim
resources.

*Inaugural Virtual Workshop*
*April 25 to May 6, 2016*

*Applications due March 25*This workshop is intended for OpenSim users who
want assistance from the OpenSim team on specific research projects. It is
expected that participants have already begun to use OpenSim for their
project. The workshop will consist of working on your project while getting
assistance from OpenSim experts remotely through video conferencing and a
specialized forum. The event will span two weeks, including two virtual
meetings on April 26th and May 3rd, along with daily forum support from a
team of OpenSim experts. Read more and apply

*Developers Workshop at Stanford University**June 27 to July 1, 2016*

*Applications due April 1*This workshop is intended for OpenSim developers
who are comfortable working with the OpenSim API in C++, MATLAB, or Python.
The primary goals of the Developers Workshop are to (i) accelerate
participants’ research projects through the support of staff and other
participants and (ii) improve participants’ mastery of the OpenSim API
through hands-on, didactic examples. This event will take place over five
days on the Stanford campus. Outstanding applications are eligible for

*Misagh Mansouri becomes newest OpenSim Fellow*
We are pleased to announce our newest OpenSim Fellow: Misagh Mansouri. This
honor from the National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation Research
(NCSRR) recognizes a strong commitment to the OpenSim community and a deep
expertise in biomechanical modeling and simulation. Read more about the current

*Upper Extremity Dynamic Model Updated for OpenSim 3.3*Katherine Saul (NC
State) and Wendy Murray (Northwestern) have updated their upper extremity
model to be compatible with version 3.3 of OpenSim. They've also updated
the tutorials, documentation, and benchmark output data. Learn more and get
