Webinar: Musculoskeletal Simulations Combining Multiscale Data and Finite Element Modeling of the Knee

Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time

Kevin Shelburne, Alessandro Navacchia, and Azhar Ali from the University of Denver will present their work on linking joint-level deformable finite element models with multibody musculoskeletal simulations. They will provide a conceptual overview of their multi-scale musculoskeletal modeling framework and then describe two example applications. Apply for the Upcoming OpenSim Workshop in Belgium

February 6-8, 2017 in Leuven, Belgium

The workshop will focus on getting started with OpenSim for new research projects, including data import and using OpenSim's workflow tools. It is open to beginning and intermediate users. OpenSim experts and fellows Friedl De Groote, Ilse Jonkers, Massimo Sartori, Giordano Valente, Luca Modenese, Dimitra Blana, and Mariska Wesseling will lead the workshop. Apply to the NCSRR/OpenSim Visiting Scholars Program

Summer 2017 at Stanford University

Applications are due on February 3, 2017

The National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation Research (NCSRR) is now accepting applications for the 2017 Visiting Scholars Program. The program is a unique experience that fosters expertise and collaborations in biomechanical simulations for rehabilitation research. Up to four individuals will be chosen to visit the NCSRR at Stanford University for a 5-week period during the summer of 2017.
