OpenSim Workshop at the International Symposium on Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering

July 30 - August 1, 2024, Vancouver, BC, Canada

Receive guidance from the Restore<http://restore.stanford.edu> and Mobilize<http://mobilize.stanford.edu> Centers at an upcoming workshop entitled “OpenSim: Tools for rapid, large-scale musculoskeletal simulations.” In this workshop, we will share a mix of lectures, demos, and hands-on tutorials that illustrate how to use our ecosystem of OpenSim tools to rapidly create simulations, including from smartphone videos using OpenCap, new features we’ve added to our Moco optimization framework, and Python and Jupyter notebook interfaces. Webinar on Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data for Cycling

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our joint Mobilize/Restore Center webinar featuring Caitlin Clancy from Stanford University entitled “Muscle-Driven Simulations and Experimental Data of Cycling.” She demonstrated her team’s approach to generating simulations using OpenSim Moco<https://opensim-org.github.io/opensim-moco-site/> and how they explored different optimization objectives to improve similarity with experimental data. She also provided guidance on best practices for working with OpenSim Moco<https://opensim-org.github.io/opensim-moco-site/> and shared lessons learned from her experience.
