Hi Everyone,
Thank you again for participating in the OpenSim workshop.
*First, please fill out our
survey<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dEkxRVRTOXJhVnBObjdSWVdtRUFSbnc6MA#gid=0>
! * It will only take a few minutes. Your feedback and critiques are
incredibly valuable for improving future workshops.
It was a pleasure working with you all and the progress you made in a short
three days was impressive. We hope that you will maintain the momentum you
developed using OpenSim with your research. To help with this, I have a
couple follow-up items to share:
1) PDFs of all the lecture slides are on the Documents page of the
workshop's SimTK project site:
https://simtk.org/docman/?group_id=737
2) If you haven't done so already, please send me your closing slides. It
is very useful for us to have a record of what was accomplished and hurdles
that were encountered.
3) Again, we encourage you to create a SimTK project site to share your
work:
https://simtk.org/register/projectinfo.php
4) You can contact members of the OpenSim team at Stanford through the
SimTK workshop page if you have any follow-up questions for specific people
after the workshop:
5) We are continually working to improve the OpenSim software. Please help
us do this by reporting bugs that you encounter. You can report bugs and
request features here:
6) You can sign up to be a beta tester of new releases by signing up at the
following link:
https://simtk.org/mailman/listinfo/opensim-testers
7) The link to our new online documentation is below. Let me know if you
have any suggestions before improvement before we release to the wider
OpenSim community.
http://www.stanford.edu/group/opensim/support/support_index_test.html
8) Finally, use our website at opensim.stanford.edu to find information
about upcoming events, research projects using OpenSim, and many other
resources.
Thanks and Best Wishes,
Jen
