[Population Modeling] Towards the SpringSim population modeling track next year

Hello Again,

You may recall my question a couple of weeks ago about organizing a track
in SpringSim next year.

It seems we already have 6 interested people - 7 including myself. Since we
have sufficient base support we can start planning how we want to organize
the track. The sooner we do this, the better since some parties are
required to submit for travel grants a long time ahead - a year should be
sufficient to get the ball rolling

According to my count there was 1 person specially interested in a panel
and 2 others I counted that seem to support this format either directly or
indirectly.

So I would like to ask what topic would such a panel discuss?
Interested parties, please submit suggestions for topic so we can find a
common ground and panel members.

Also, at least one person wanted to present a paper. How many others on the
list think they can submit a population modeling paper next year?

And if we will write papers we will need organizers and reviewers to
support the peer review process. If there are any volunteers, please
present yourselves so we can start organization in a timely manner.

I look forward to see your responses to the issues of panel topic, paper
author, and volunteers.

              Jacob
