[Population Modeling] Dissemination of our work in the population modeling working group

Greeting Population Modelers,

The IMAG-MSM Public Dissemination & Education Working Group (IMAG-PDE) has
reached back to us with the following text:

"As of right now, our IMAG-PDE group can help disseminate your work by
posting example models (on our community page on SimTK) that demonstrate
for a 7th grade-level audience how you use modeling to address questions
relating to biology, human health, and behavior. Do you have any example
models that fit this description? If so, please upload them on SimTK"

I assembled all our work in the last few years into a Matrix that maps the
field. You can find it in this link:

Many of you will find your work represented in this Matrix as it is based
on your past contributions. Feel free to ask for changes. You will find
links to the papers that assembled this matrix in our SimTK portal:

I tried showing one of our papers to a couple of 5th graders with enhanced
math and concluded that text we assembled in our papers is not readable for
this age group. The IMAG-PDE working group is asking us for material
suitable for 7th grade which is close. I would appreciate some feedback on
the matter to allow us to fulfill the request made by the IMAG-PDE group.

This topic is open for anyone who wishes to contribute. However, the people
in the list below may have more interest in this topic since I am trying to
pass forward their work. I assume some of you have received grants that
have dissemination elements in them, so helping here would help in your
next progress report.

If there is anyone on this list who has experience with preparing
educational material for middle / junior high school, please step forward
to help pass our findings to the younger generation.

Hopefully some of you will step forward.
