Dear SimVascular users,

The SimVascular development team continuously works to improve SimVascular and add new features to make it even more useful for your cardiovascular modeling and simulation work. However, to help us tailor our efforts, your feedback is essential. What features would you like to see added to SimVascular? How has your experience been using the software so far? Answers to these questions are extremely helpful to us.

To collect your feedback we have created a survey which you can find at https://goo.gl/forms/ORA6d1ei3ujln5MZ2

Please take a few moments to answer the survey and give us your feedback.

Additionally, we recently released a new version of SimVascular with improvements and bug-fixes, which you can find at https://simtk.org/frs/?group_id=188. The improvements and fixes we made are:

Improvements:
---------------------------------------------------
Basic hole/multidomain meshing
More robust for adding an image to a project
Able to toggle visibility of individual slice planes in 3D view
Able to work with path, 2D segmentation without images loaded
Able to warn users by basic examination for model union if there are more faces created than supposed
Able to import an external model with possible face info
Tooltips added in GUI to help users to interact with data
When a new path/group is created, point/reslice sizes are assigned based on the previous one
Able to continuously create segmentation interactively in the same method without hitting the button repeatedly
Select a specific contour from 3D view

Bug fixes:
-----------------------------------------------------------
avoid crash when fetching details for a mesh without data loaded
Prevent invalid data in bct when meter is used as a unit

In any case, we are looking forward to seeing your survey answers and hearing your feedback.

Best regards,

The SimVascular development team
