Dear SimVascular users,
I have added new installers to SimTK SimVascular Downloads. Each installer has notes that describe any additional system libraries that may need to be installed for SimVascular to run. Installers are provided for Ubuntu 22 and 24 and MacOS ARM and Intel.
I have also added an Installing SimVascular<https://simvascular.github.io/documentation/getting_started.html#installing> section to the Getting Started documentation. I hope this will help you identify and fix any problems you might have when running SimVascular.
There is currently no plan to provide a native Windows SimVascular version since we believe that Windows users can use Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) to run SimVascular. If you are having problems using WSL then please let us know and we will work with you to get you up and running.
The Installing SimVascular<https://simvascular.github.io/documentation/getting_started.html#installing> documentation contains a detailed description about how to set up WSL to run SimVascular.
Please post to the Forum any problems you find with the latest release or open a GitHub Issue.
Cheers,
Dave
