Dissemination Update 

September 14, 2009

 

Last week:

 

.         Dissemination planning

o   Workshop planning for the year:  proposed and investigated initial
ideas for RNA, OpenMM, and Zephyr workshops

 

.         OpenSim

o   R24 grant - worked on draft on pilot grants & visiting scholar
program;  provided biosketch

o   NMS Physiome grant - updated paperwork  

o   Reviewed and fixed formatting for Ayman's updates to OpenSim document
for 1.9.1 release;  wrote a short document to assist others with
formatting issues in OpenSim user guide 

 

.         BCR - Proofed final design

 

.         Simtk.org - Testing of bug fixes and feature changes - tested
changes to add keywords & ontology;  sent out email to leads on public
projects asking to update with keywords & ontology

 

.         SimVascular - Letter of support for SimVascular grant 

 

 

This week:

 

.         Dissemination planning

o   Update metrics

o   Review SimTK users - what do they list as expected use

o   Workshop planning for the year - gather additional information needed,
begin submitting conference proposals

 

.         Renewal - Prepare sample letters for SimVascular R01
collaborators

 

.         Zephyr

o   Test new version

o   Update manual

 

.         OpenSim

o   R24 grant - complete draft for pilot grants & visiting scholar
program;  edit entire research plan 

o   NMS Physiome grant - update any additional paperwork, as needed  

 

.         Simtk.org

o   Testing of bug fixes and feature changes

o   Follow up with warnings of suspension to Simtk.org users
